161. Toto - "Africa" (CBS, 1982)
I know, I know, the lyrics are horrid, and Toto deserves shit for a lot of their other songs, and the chorus isn't even a world beater. But that riff, the one that adds the odd extra measure to some of the lines in the verses, that shit is sooooo good. You can't fuck with it. Can I enjoy nonsensical exoticist bullshit if it grooves this good? I guess I can.
